5-BULLET FRIDAY – June 13, 2025
To all the incredible dads, father figures, and those who step into the role in big and small ways—this weekend is for you.
We just want to take a moment to say thank you. Your steady hands, quiet strength, bad jokes, endless pickups and drop-offs, and the way you show up every day—those things matter more than you’ll ever know. You’re shaping hearts, building character, and creating memories that last a lifetime.
Whether you’re the coach on the sidelines, the fixer of broken toys, the late-night homework helper, or simply the comforting presence after a long day, your love and support lay the foundation for your family’s world. You may not always see it in the moment, but your impact is powerful and lasting.
We see you, we admire you, and we are so grateful for everything you do.
From our family to yours, Happy Father’s Day! May this weekend be full of laughter, love, and moments that remind you just how much you mean to the people who call you Dad.
#1 – QUOTE OF THE WEEK
“Dad, a son’s first hero and a daughter’s first love.” -Unknown
#2 – DENVER HOUSING MARKET SNAPSHOT FOR MAY 2025
According to the RE Colorado May 2025 Housing Market Trends Report, Denver housing market in May showed signs of slowing down a bit, but buyers are still active. Compared to last year, 5% fewer homes sold, but 12% more went under contract—so people are still buying. There are more homes to choose from, with listings up 38% from last year. Prices overall stayed the same, though single-family homes went up 2% and condos/townhomes went down 2%. Most sales were between $400K–$700K, and 14% were over $1 million. Homes took a bit longer to sell, with a median of 14 days on the market, and sellers got about 99% of their asking price. Month-to-month, the market stayed steady. Sales were up slightly, and buyers continued to act quickly.
#3 – BRONCOS STADIUM BUZZ: SECRET LAND BUYS SPARK RELOCATION RUMORS IN DENVER
A series of secretive land purchases totaling $146 million in Denver’s Lincoln Park neighborhood is fueling speculation that the Denver Broncos may be planning a new stadium near the state-owned Burnham Yard. Ten properties were acquired through recently formed LLCs, many reportedly over market value, and handled by a real estate attorney with ties to the Broncos’ legal team. Although the team hasn’t confirmed involvement, anonymous sources suggest they are behind the deals, with sellers bound by nondisclosure agreements. The Broncos have stated they’re still exploring options for a future stadium location, with other potential sites including Lone Tree and Aurora, as their current lease at Empower Field expires in 2031.
#4 – RHINGO ARRIVES: DENVER WELCOMES ITS NEWEST GIANT LANDMARK AT DENARGO MARKET
Welcome to the herd, Rhingo! Denver’s newest public art landmark—a towering 30-foot, 22,000-pound rhinoceros sculpture—has officially been named after a spirited community campaign drew nearly 1,500 submissions and votes. Unveiled at the corner of 29th Street and Arkins Court in the RiNo Art District, Rhingo joins iconic local sculptures like Blucifer and the Big Blue Bear in Denver’s lineup of beloved giant creatures. While not yet open for climbing, Rhingo will soon welcome kids and families alike when more than four acres of public parks and recreation space open later this summer at the Denargo Market development. This climbable rhino is more than just art—it’s a bold, playful invitation to make Denargo Market a vibrant gathering place for the entire community.
