5-BULLET FRIDAY – July 4, 2025
As we gather this week to enjoy cookouts, fireworks, and time with loved ones, it’s important to pause and remember what the 4th of July truly means. Independence Day marks the birth of our nation—the day in 1776 when the Declaration of Independence was adopted, signaling the beginning of a new chapter built on the ideals of freedom, equality, and self-determination.
This holiday is about more than just traditions and summer fun. It’s a time to reflect on the courage it took to fight for liberty, the strength of the American spirit, and the ongoing responsibility we all share in shaping a country where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. It’s a celebration of where we’ve come from—and a reminder of the values we aim to uphold.
Whether you’re lighting sparklers with your kids, hosting a backyard BBQ, or enjoying an evening out under the stars, we hope you take a moment to appreciate the freedom and unity that this day represents.
From our hearts to yours, we wish you a joyful, meaningful, and safe 4th of July week ahead!
#1 – QUOTE OF THE WEEK
“What you do today can improve all your tomorrows.” – Ralph Marston
#2 – NOW MIGHT BE THE SMARTEST TIME TO BUY A HOME IN 2025
Interest rates have remained relatively high through the first half of 2025 as the Federal Reserve continues its cautious approach to inflation, but many experts predict a gradual decline later this year if economic conditions stabilize. While rates haven’t dropped just yet, there’s growing optimism that we’ll see one or two cuts before year’s end. In the meantime, buyers actually hold more power than they’ve had in years. With increased inventory on the market, slightly lower home prices in many areas, and more room to negotiate with motivated sellers, the current market offers unique advantages—making now a smart time to buy before demand surges when rates eventually fall.

#4 – HOW TO KEEP YOUR HOME SAFE WHILE YOU’RE AWAY ON SUMMER VACATION
Before heading out on your summer vacation, take a few simple steps to protect your home and give yourself peace of mind while you’re away. Start by securing all doors and windows, setting timers on lights to create the illusion that someone is home, and pausing mail or arranging for a neighbor to collect it. Consider installing smart home devices like a video doorbell or security cameras that allow you to check in remotely. Unplug non-essential electronics to reduce fire risk and save energy, and make sure your landscaping is trimmed so your home doesn’t appear neglected. A little preparation goes a long way in keeping your home safe while you relax and recharge.
