#1 – QUOTE OF THE WEEK

#2 – VAIL RESORTS LAUNCHES EPIC FRIEND TICKETS FOR 2025-26 SKI SEASON
Vail Resorts announced that Epic Pass holders will get a new benefit for the 2025-26 season called Epic Friend Tickets, which let them share 50% off lift tickets with friends at 37 North American resorts. Depending on purchase date, eligible pass holders will receive either 10 tickets (if bought before April 14) or six tickets (if bought after). Friends can also apply the full value of one redeemed ticket toward a 2026-27 Epic Pass, doubling the savings. The new program replaces the older Buddy Tickets with bigger, more consistent discounts, and is designed to make skiing more accessible while encouraging pass holders to share the sport with others. Epic Passes, including the Epic, Epic Local, Epic Military, and more, are on sale now at the lowest prices of the fall until Sept. 1.
#3 – DENVER METRO HOUSING MARKET SHIFTS TOWARD BUYERS AS PRICES DIP AND INVENTORY RISES
According to the latest Market Trends Housing Report from the Colorado Association of REALTORS® (CAR), the Denver Metro housing market saw a slight dip in pricing during July as inventory levels remained elevated and sales slowed heading into the seasonal fall cooldown. The median price for single-family homes in the seven-county Denver area declined 1.6% from June to $630,000, down 1.2% from a year earlier, while condo/townhome prices slipped nearly 2% in the past month and are down 6.5% year-over-year at $392,500. With 3,686 single-family sales in July—an 8.8% drop from the previous month—buyers now hold greater leverage, benefiting from increased inventory, meaningful concessions, and more favorable negotiating conditions than in over a decade. For sellers, success will depend on strategic pricing, strong presentation, and flexibility, while buyers are well-positioned to find opportunities in this shifting market
#4 – SEAN PAYTON URGES FAST START AS BRONCOS EYE CHAMPIONSHIP IN 2025 SEASON
Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton is eager to kick off the 2025 season, emphasizing the need for a fast start after slow openings the past two years. Following a 1-5 beginning in 2023 and an 0-2 start in 2024 before rebounding to make the playoffs, Payton stressed that consistency will be key to competing with top-tier teams. Reflecting on his 2009 Saints squad that began 13-0 and won the Super Bowl, he said the best teams avoid cold stretches by stringing together multiple wins. With the opener against the Tennessee Titans on Sept. 7, Payton believes the Broncos are capable of a championship run if they can sustain momentum.
